Limiting Beliefs & Trusting Your Intuition

If you feel like you’re made for more, but you can’t fully explain what that “more” is yet, your mind may be clouded by limiting beliefs.

These beliefs aren’t always obvious. Most of the time, they’re subtle. But they can be felt, and they can absolutely be noticed in the way you move through your life, the decisions you make, and how you show up for yourself.

For the longest time, I thought clarity would feel like a fog suddenly lifting — like one day everything would become black and white and I’d just know exactly what decisions to make. Whether that was staying in a relationship, choosing what to study in college, figuring out what career path to take, or knowing when it was time to pivot entirely.

But the one thing that truly led me to where I am today was my intuition.

At first, it felt like a soft whisper. And the more I honored it, the louder it became.

But it wasn’t always like that.

There was a period of time where I didn’t trust it at all. I kept choosing the things that looked good on paper or made the most logical sense, but deep down something always felt missing. The spark just wasn’t there.

I physically couldn’t show up as my enthusiastic, bubbly self. I felt flat, disconnected, and honestly a little lost. And every time I ignored what I knew I was being called toward, life eventually found a way to redirect me anyway.

Over time, I realized that trusting my inner voice — even when it didn’t make sense to other people — was what always led me exactly where I needed to be.

And maybe you’re in that place right now.

Maybe you’ve already taken bold steps in your life. Maybe you’ve left relationships that no longer aligned, changed careers, moved cities, started over, or chosen a path that felt more true to you. But even after making those changes, something still feels slightly off. Like the puzzle is coming together, but not everything has clicked into place just yet.

This is the part of the journey where a lot of people give up.

The space between the life you used to know and the life you deeply feel called toward can feel uncomfortable, uncertain, and honestly lonely at times.

But I also think this is where one of the biggest hidden blocks begins to surface: limiting beliefs.

Because even when something feels aligned on a soul level, your subconscious mind and nervous system may still be operating from old beliefs that no longer match where you’re trying to go.

Maybe you finally leave the job that drained you to pursue something you actually care about… but the abundance you expected doesn’t come as quickly as you hoped.

Maybe you walk away from relationships that no longer feel aligned… but now you’re in the in-between wondering where your people are.

This “bridge” between versions of your life is where so many people unknowingly hold themselves back.

Not because they aren’t capable.

Not because they’re doing something wrong.

But because subconscious beliefs are still shaping how safe it feels to fully receive the life they want.

And this is what eventually led me to EFT tapping.

EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Technique — a practice that combines tapping on specific acupressure points while bringing awareness to subconscious patterns, emotions, and beliefs.

It’s one of the quickest, most powerful tools I’ve personally used to shift limiting beliefs, regulate my nervous system, and create real change in my life.

I’ve seen it not only in my own experience, but in the people around me too.

Because the truth is, everyone has limiting beliefs to some extent. Whether we realize it or not.

I like to think of them as blind spots — subtle patterns running beneath the surface that quietly keep us stuck.

And healing them really comes down to two things:

  1. Honoring your intuition, even when it doesn’t fully make sense yet. Tuning out the world so you can actually hear yourself again.

  2. Identifying and releasing the subconscious beliefs that make it hard to fully receive what you know you’re meant for.

Because sometimes the thing keeping you stuck isn’t a lack of potential.

It’s the beliefs beneath the surface convincing you that what you want isn’t fully safe, possible, or meant for you.

And once those begin to shift, everything else starts shifting too.

If this resonated with you, I created a free guide to help you begin uncovering the subconscious beliefs that may be keeping you stuck — start your journey here.
